Educational Leadership Experience

Brian McManus, M.Ed., MA, is an educational leader and EdTech founder with over 20 years of experience dedicated to improving school systems. His career has spanned both U.S. public and international schools: more than a decade as a high school English teacher, then ten years in school leadership, including six as an Assistant Principal.

As an administrator, Brian routinely led professional development for over 200 teachers and facilitated nearly 1,000 parent meetings. He is an Evaluation Team Member for the Council of International Schools and has served on numerous school accreditation visits for NEASC and MSA.

After enough 5 AM scrambles covering classes at a 1,700-student high school, juggling the master schedule, the bell schedule, and a shrinking list of available prep periods, he built the scheduler he needed. That scheduler became Harry Llama, the flagship product of Lucid North.
